Our meetings are hybrid! Contact us for the Zoom link. Please check our website to verify the meeting location and time (we occasionally have evening meetings or meetings in other locations).
Happy Spring everyone! Even though the groundhog said there would be six more weeks of winter, I’m sure we’re all ready for the warm weather and the chance to be outside more. If you’re looking for something fun to do while we wait, please consider joining us at the Bedford Science Center at the Job Lane School where we have been helping the kids learn about the lifecycle of rocks, the layers of eggs, and even dinosaur poop! It’s very satisfying to know that our club’s gift makes this learning possible and spending time with the kids is just priceless. I’m also looking forward to the visioning session coming up this month and I thank Paula in advance for putting this together. I hope to see many of you there as well as at our next evening meeting. In the meantime, stay warm! It will be Spring before we know it.
Evening Meeting -- March 4
Join the Rotary Club of Bedford's March 4th Evening Meeting for an evening of fellowship, community, and great food!
Attendees must order their food from Ken's Deli before the meeting. Place your order during the day on Tuesday, March 4th:
By Phone (781) 276-4999 - preferably between 10:30-11:30 am or 1:00-4:30 pm to avoid confusion during their peak lunchtime.
In either case, tell them your name and that it's a Rotary Club order for later pickup.
Complete your order, including payment.
All Rotary orders will be picked up at 5:30 pm and brought to the meeting.
Keep in mind - there will be a delay between when the order is ready and when it will be picked up. Therefore, it would be best not to order something like soup or a hot entree.
We'll be meeting in Upper Fellowship Hall, not our regular meeting room.
Please RSVP for ourVisioning session on March 15th, 9am-1pm. We need you—from our newest members to our most tenured—to be part of this important process! This is your chance to shape the future of our club, ensuring our projects, impact, and growth reflect our shared vision.
The Hope for the Hungry 2025 event team quickly agreed on which meal-packing options from Meals of Hope they liked best. However, it took a bit of serious consideration and deliberation to finalize which meal we’d be packing on Saturday, April 26th.
Among the array of seven meal choices, Chicken-flavored Veggie Rice Soup, Pasta & Tomato Sauce, Lentils & Rice, Soy Chicken, Mac’n Cheese, Oatmeal, and even Beans & Rice, each had its pros and cons. Textures, ingredients, and spice flavoring were discussed, but only briefly. Ultimately, the one overriding decision factor was taste
A huge thank you to our amazing hosts, Diana Jarvis and Chris, for another fantastic annual Rotary Game Night! It was a night full of fabulous friends, food, and fun.
We also took a moment to honor Ralph for his incredible contributions—thank you for all that you do!
Most importantly, we came together to support our community by collecting personal care items for Middlesex Community College students. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making a difference!
