On Saturday, March 15, the club gathered for a Visioning Event to set the course for the club’s future. This interactive workshop, led by experienced Rotary facilitators, PDG Elliott Rittenberg, DG Joyce Graff, and Ron Faccenda, brought together club members to discuss goals, priorities, and strategies for enhancing community impact and member engagement.Through collaborative discussions and brainstorming sessions, participants explored ways to strengthen existing projects, develop new initiatives, and expand partnerships within Bedford and beyond. The event provided a valuable opportunity for members to share their ideas, align on a shared vision, and create an action plan to guide the club’s efforts in the coming years.
Next steps: Pam will create a spreadsheet of the ideas we generated - thanks, Pam! Tom will be our Vision Leader. Christine P, Victor, and Paula will create a statement of purpose/elevator speech, and Tom, Katherine, Karen, Diane CH, Rebecca, and Paula will develop the Master Plan. Dawn will share the Visioning results with the club at an assembly in April. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved as the process develops.
With renewed enthusiasm and clear objectives, the club is committed to continuing its mission of service above self, making a lasting difference in the community. Stay tuned for updates on how these ideas take shape!
