Saturday, August 3rd - Bedford Rotarians helped the Bedford Council on Aging put on their Annual Summer BBQ. This is the third year the Rotary Club of Bedford has helped the COA host and present this popular event for COA members and local visitors.
Saturday, August 3rd - Bedford Rotarians helped the Bedford Council on Aging put on their Annual Summer BBQ. This is the third year the Rotary Club of Bedford has helped the COA host and present this popular event for COA members and local visitors.Fourteen Rotarians grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for about 40 COA'ers and served sides of coleslaw, potato salad, and fruit cups. Ken's NY Deli & Pizzeria, Whole Foods Market and Bedford Farms Ice Cream partnered with Rotary by donating and sourcing the BBQ menu offerings.
Alison Cservenschi (COA Director) and staffers Marie Aaronian and Leslie Johnson arranged and coordinated the entire BBQ event.
The Rotary Club volunteers included: Jacquelin Apsler, Judi Babcock, Bob Cassidy, Paula Gilarde, Kay Hamilton, Marc Hamilton, Ralph Hammond, Debi Malone, Rebecca Neale, David Pantalone, Terry Parker, Christine Pinney, Tom Pinney, and Marie Tremblay.
