On December 4th, dedicated club members rolled up their sleeves and braved frigid temperatures to support a Habitat for Humanity build day in Concord. Despite the cold, spirits were high as the group came together with a shared purpose: helping build safe, affordable homes for families in our community. Throughout the day, volunteers made meaningful progress across multiple houses. One team focused their efforts on constructing a staircase for the first house, while others worked hard on the floor for the third home.

In addition to the important construction work, the day included a special celebration—honoring John, Habitat for Humanity’s Director of Construction, on his birthday. It was a wonderful reminder that Habitat builds more than houses; it builds relationships and community.
Seeing our members come together, support one another, and give back so generously was truly inspiring. A heartfelt thank-you goes to our fearless leader, Lita, for coordinating the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
