The Rotary District 7910 Foundation Dinner on November 19th was an evening filled with recognition—and the Rotary Club of Bedford was proudly front and center. Several members and the club as a whole were honored for outstanding support of The Rotary Foundation (TRF).

Jacquelin Apsler was honored as the newest District 7910 Rotarian to achieve Major Donor status. This milestone reflects her long-standing generosity and deep commitment to Rotary’s mission. Congratulations, Jacquelin!

The club earned four distinguished banner awards for its strong support and participation in The Rotary Foundation:

  • Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY)
Awarded to clubs averaging $100 per capita and with every member contributing at least $25 to the Annual Fund.
Bedford’s contribution to a Global Grant—allocated per member—helped achieve this goal.
  • 100% Foundation Giving
Recognizes clubs where every member donates to TRF through the Annual Fund, PolioPlus, approved Global Grants, or the Endowment Fund.
  • Top Three Per Capita in Annual Fund Giving
Bedford placed #3 in District 7910, highlighting both participation and generosity.
  • End Polio Now Certificate of Achievement
Awarded for donating at least $1,500 to the PolioPlus Fund.

These achievements reflect a unified, club-wide dedication to Rotary’s global mission.

The dinner also celebrated a historic moment: Sze-Wen and Victor were recognized as the first Rotarians in District 7910 to join the Arch Klumph Society, Rotary’s highest donor recognition level. They were also honored for achieving Bequest Society Level 4, reflecting significant planned gifts that will continue to support Rotary’s work for generations to come.

The evening showcased Bedford Rotary’s collective spirit of service and generosity. From club-wide participation to unprecedented donor milestones, Bedford continues to exemplify Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.
