We welcome one of our own members, Bobbie Ennis, representing the Friends of the Bedford Council on Aging (COA), as our guest speaker.. Bobbie will share an overview of the Friends of the Bedford COA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the programs, services, and needs of Bedford’s senior community.

This is an evening meeting and will be a kickoff to our Hope for the Hungry event.

Did you know that at no cost, the club can sponsor a student (15-18 1/2) for a family-to-family exchange? Two students are matched, and each spend 3-4 weeks with each other’s families. Sherrie will explain to us how it works!

Corinne & Lara will provide an update on what Mothers Out Front have been up to, and on the proposed Hanscom Field hangar expansion for private jets

Lita Verrier is a passionate advocate for volunteering and strong, well-run boards. She’ll be chatting with the club about why volunteer work matters and what it really means—legally—to serve on a board.

Kevin Maccioli is the Director of Media Relations & Public Information for the Middlesex Sheriff's Office. He will be discussing their work and community partnerships. 

Officer Brickey joined Bedford Public Schools as the SRO in May 2025. She will tell us about her role within the school system and the police department.

In her own words - As the School Resource Officer, I work to keep our schools safe while building positive, trusting relationships with both the students and staff. Bolo helps create a calm welcoming environment providing comfort and support to students, staff, and the community throughout the day. Bolo and I try and focus on safety, connection, and helping students feel safe and supported.

What went right, what went wrong, and what can we learn from our last Hope for the Hungry meal-packing. 

Avive partners with organizations to develop and implement revolutionary AED programs that target Sudden Cardiac Arrest. We have made great strides in developing technology that is easier to use, easier to manage from an admin point of view, and the only fully connected AED that works with 911 dispatch. Our AED bridges the massive gap between Sudden Cardiac Arrest and hospital treatment by providing never-before-available information instantly after a rescue.

Ralph Hammond will be receiving very special awards from Rotary International at this meeting.

Ed Tivnan is America's first certified Professional Facilitator of the French Circular Economy Collage — a credential he earned in October 2025. He is a former high school biology teacher with 14 years in the classroom. He is also President of the Clipper City Toastmasters.
